BCBG Max Azria Fall 2006 RunwayThe BCBG Max Azria Fall 2006 collection shown at Bryant Park during Olympus Fashion Week in New York City. The BCBG Max Azria show was held on February 6, 2006. The photographer taking the photos was Luis Fernandez.
Going Solo - By: Katie Parfet, Style Editor Max Azria unveiled his new solo collection, a distinction from the more commercially accessible BCBG. Sophisticated designs and fine fabrics did translate to a higher price point of course. Nevertheless, there were a few key pieces shown on the runway worth shelling out the extra cash for. Standouts included everything cashmere from charcoal cardigans to chic black head scarves . Color made a sneak appearance in brown and plum turtlenecks. In keeping with personal preference, Mr. Azria's fondness for layering defiantly did not go unnoticed. Leggings went under everything from a strong black and tan pinstripe rayon dress to a sexier taupe wool knit bustier dress. Heather grey bloomers meshed well with evergreen patent boots, a flirty touch to more serious ready to wear. Hollywood glam inspired gowns from the uber expensive Max Azria Atelier collection embodied the cool and chic young women of our generation. Fans include Lucy Liu, Sarah Michelle Gellar, and Christina Milan who donned a stunning number for The Heart Truth's Red Dress Collection 2006 fashion show Friday.
