The chic and stylish Lady Gaga has changed up her look once again. It’s is not surprising that Lady Gaga changed her look to stay fresh and edgy, if anything, it is to be expected. Having sported an aquamarine wig for the past few weeks, fashion icon Lady Gaga decided to go back to her trademark platinum blond look. Lady Gaga was performing at the MTV Video Music Aid Japan at the Makuhari Messe Arena near Tokyo when the the photos below were taken.

Lady Gaga’s hair was not only back to being blond, but it was also braided and put into two buns on her head, with her fringe cut short on her forehead. When her act began, Lady Gaga had aquamarine extensions in which seemed to be intertwined into a spider-web like backdrop on stage. As she got more into the first song, Lady Gaga quickly removed herself from the web, and removed the extensions. What are your thoughts on Lady Gaga’s new hairstyle?

Giorgio Armani Rips Into Prada and Dolce & Gabbana at Milan Fashion Week

Fashion designer Giorgio Armani rips into Prada and Dolce & Gabbana and talks smack about their line and corporate ways. After debuting his new menswear collection at the Milan Fashion Week, Giorgio Armani spoke quite freely and openly about what he thought off the other high end fashion brands. I am pretty surprised that Giorgio Armani would let loose like he did about Prada and Dolce & Gabbana. Granted, he may feel the way he does, but I am not sure this was the right place to speak his mind.

Giorgio Armani said, “that houses like Prada and Dolce & Gabbana make men look ridiculous,” and then he blamed the press for not being more critical about clownish runway styles that men don’t wear. Prada is “ingenious” for her “irony,” he said, “and bad taste that becomes chic.” But, certain Prada collections are “sometimes ugly,” he noted, and still always get positive coverage in the press. Giorgio Armani then went on to say, “Fashion is in the in the hands of the banks [and] the stock market [...] It no longer belongs to the owners, but to those above them.” Some pretty harsh criticism coming from Mr. Armani.

Cougar Town Actress Courteney Cox and Her Python Print Dress at the 2011 Critics Choice Television Awards

Actress Courteney Cox could have picked a little bit more tasteful dress to wear to the 2011 Critics’ Choice Television Awards in Beverly Hills then python print dress she settled on. Courteney Cox, who is known for her work on Friends and most recently the hit show “Cougar Town”, thought that the python print dress she wore was the best choice for her appearance at the award show, but I would disagree. Personally, I find the dress to be a bit out dated, and frankly, tacky.

Even though the python print dress was not the best choice for Courteney Cox, I will say that I liked her choice of going with minimal makeup and accessories including just a long necklace and a gold watch. I found that the look worked well for her. She wore her hair down in her typical fashion, but I am sorry, I just can not get past that dress. The only good part about that dress, is that she wore it with a waist defining light-grey grosgrain belt, which helped to show off her figure.

Singer and Fashion Icon Lady Gaga recently discussed the possibility of starting her own fashion line. I think this is some pretty exciting news seeing as how radical and different Lady Gaga’s fashion taste is. The recent recipient of the CFDA Award for being a “Fashion Icon”, Gaga said at the press room at the MuchMusic Awards, which she opened and closed, “I really, really have such admiration for fashion designers and I’m such good friends with them.”

Lady Gaga went on to say, “I’d love to have a fashion line when I stop making music for a while, for a year. But that’s not going to happen soon. I’m in love with songwriting right now.” So I would not be holding your breath for anything to be released soon. What do you think of the idea of Lady Gaga releasing her own fashion line? I am curious as to what the collection would actually consist of. Would it be all meat dresses and metal spheres that surround the body? Time will tell what Lady Gaga’s fashion line will be like.

Gucci’s new 2012 Menswear line is incredibly delightful and refreshing for the upcoming fashion season. Gucci unveiled their new colltection at fashion week in Milan were it received quite positive feedback. I have to say, I am personally fairly impressed by what the brands collection looks like. All of the clothes seem to carry with them this sense of elegance and sophistication and will make anyone that wears them, looks quite distinguished.

Frida Giannini, the Gucci designer, said backstage on Monday before her spring 2012 show, where she go the inspiration for this collection. “I was thinking about Michael Caine of the ’60s, the unconventional, relaxed Michael Caine of ‘Alfie,’ the way he wore his suits with an open shirt.’’ For those of you not familiar with the movie, she nailed it, perfectly. Lady Gaga’s Meat Dress Is Being Preserved by the Rock Hall of Fame

Lady Gaga’s famous meat dress she wore to the 2010 MTV music awards is being preserved by the Rock Hall of Fame. Lady Gaga’s meat dress has already been turned over to the Rock Hall of Fame and is waiting to be displayed. Lady Gaga used it as a statement about not being just a ‘piece of meat,’ which didn’t exactly go over well with animal rights activists — as well as other celebrities like Justin Bieber and Courtney Love.

Lady Gaga’s meat dress was named the best fashion statement of 2010 by Time Magazine. I do not think anyone would really contest that decision, seeing as how far out there and provocative the dress was/is. Apparently during the process of ‘processing’ the new exhibit, all the chemicals and drying agents used to preserve the outfit gave the meat a “dark, jerky-like” appearance, so it has been painted to look ‘fresh.’ What do you think of the Lady Gaga meat dress/fashion statement?

Jonas Brothers star, Joe Jonas is now dabbling in modeling. The boy band singer has grown up and is expanding is repertoire. Joe Jonas is modeling for Calvin Klein’s spring line on the cover of WWD Men’s Week. Joe Jonas does not appear to be the same kid that was in the Jonas Brothers. Joe did talk about the bands break up by saying, “You can’t break up brothers, so you can expect more music from us.” Which leaves everything very open ended.

Joe Jonas seems to be excited about his new work with Calvin Klein. Joe said, “It’s off to the races. I’ll be starting in Milan and heading to every major city.” 21 year old Joe Jonas is off to Milan, Italy for the show on Sunday, then he’s off again to other European cities. I wonder if this is going to be the main focus for Joe Jonas here on out. Is he gonna hang his hat up with music, or will he return to it. Only time will tell where the young Joe Jonas goes.
