The brothers Custo Barcelona based fashion empire hit the California coast in the 1980's. Since then, the colorful combination of West Coast USA meets decadent Europe has held a strong staying power with the New York fashion scene. This season was no exception, going above and beyond classic David Dalmau's screen printed tee shirts. Cold weather knits with all-the-way-up zippers and peter pan collared cool coats were big hits. Details were once again intricate, with lots of embroidery and metal graphics on everything from loud scoop dresses in wild splashy hues to more subdued turtlenecks fit for a sunset screening on any beach, be it Malibu or Ibiza.
