Actress and fashion designer Katie Holmes will be appearing in the August issue of InStyle magazine, where she talks about some of her fashion favorites and hates. One of Katie Holmes favorite things is her lingerie, specifically underwear. Wife of Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes said, “They make you feel special when you put them on in the morning,” she told InStyle. “Even when I was a little girl I loved my ‘days of the week’ pairs. I love the hot pink ones, that makes my day!”

Katie Holmes then talks about her distaste for the color yellow. She tells InStyle, “Certain colours don’t work for me; yellow isn’t my friend.” Katie Holmes then went on to say, “I don’t like big, puffy sleeves. And some dresses, like if it has a big bow and skirt, are too old-ladyish on me. If I can wear it when I’m 80, I’m going to wait.” Holmes also said that she really isn’t afraid to try new things, “I’m not afraid to try a new designer or do something trendy, but it has to look right on my body,”

The Lovely Katie Holmes is making her entrance to the wonderful world of fashion with her own clothing line. While currently working on her new movie, Katie plans on releasing her clothing line later this year at Maxfield stores.Teaming up with her stylist Jeanne Yang, Katie is making a premier line of clothes for Women and Children.
