Fashion Designer Marc Jacobs has done another pretty out there ad campaign for his new collection. Marc Jacobs has done some out there campaigns before which included having Victoria Beckham pose in nothing but a carrier bag, and also Helena Bonham Carter rocking some measels. But Marc Jacobs latest campaign has taken the cake, and apparently all of the clothes as well. Almost all of the pictures leave little to nothing to the imagination.
The series of ads for Marc Jacobs latest collection, shot by renowned fashion photographer Juergen Teller, show a 53-year-old artist Cerith Wyn Evans leaping around a yard with nothing but a bunch of balloons protecting his modesty. In the less revealing shots from the series, Mr Evans stands with his back to the lens, the colourful balloons obscuring all but a glimpse of his bare bottom. Only a few things from the collection are featured such a leather bag, riding boots and a tuxedo suit being modelled by Mr Evans.

Take a look a soccer star David Beckham look quite dapper and proper in his most recent get up. David Beckham looked like he was straight out of an episode of Mad Men with a black suit, slicked back hair and a devious smile. Beckham has not only made millions off of his soccer career, but he has also done so with his appearance and looks. I will say, that as far men go, David Beckham sure knows how to dress and he wears almost anything perfectly.
David Beckham sported some questions from his fans. One fan asked him if Victoria dressed him. David Beckham said, ‘She kind of just lets me wear whatever I want to wear but I definitely ask her for the tips because it’s what she does, she’s great at dressing people she loves her fashion… but most of the time it’s me.’ Thierry Henry, the man known for his ‘va va voom’ added to the praise of David and said: ‘The guy can wear whatever he wants, I mean look at him.’

Actress Emma Watson, who is known for her role as Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series seems to be heading more towards fashion design. Emma Watson seems to be just one of many young actresses who are trying their hand at fashion design. From the Olson twins, to Jessica Simpson, to Victoria Beckham, and the list goes on. Emma Watson has already designed a line of tee shirts, but she really wants to work on custom evening gowns.
“Emma wants to challenge herself creatively,” says a source close to the actress.” Another source reports, “She’s obsessed with art at the moment.” Most importantly, she has already made more money than most people earn in a lifetime—several times over, so Emma Watson can do whatever she pleases. If she wants to start a fashion line, she won’t need backers. She can finance herself. I am hopeful for Emma Watson’s fashion line and think that it could really make a name for itself.

Former Spice Girl turned fashion designer, Victoria Beckham who is currently pregnant, has recently released plans for a new and affordable clothing line. Victoria Beckham has disclosed her plans to launch a less expensive fashion line called Victoria by Victoria Beckham. Beckham is the wife of soccer star David Beckham, who is releasing his own fashion line of underwear. It is like the Beckhams are capitalizing on everything they can from fashion to stardom.
The ‘Victoria’ line will show more appeal to the younger consumer because of the style choice for this line as well as price range. The dress will be bright-colored, 60′s styled mod, coupled with the inspiration of fictional cartoon character Emily the Strange and priced from $550-$900. Victoria Beckham said, “I’m opening these designs to women and girls of all different shapes and sizes, people who maybe want something less tight and clingy and structured…You can wear them with a pair of flats or a pair of heels and they look great.”

Former Spice Girl and entertainer Geri Halliwell is going to design her own line of evening dresses. Geri Halliwell seems to be following in the footsteps of band mate Victoria Beckham who has great success since the launch of her own collection – which she showcases in New York Fashion Week. I wonder if Halliwell becoming a fashion designer, and competing with her former band member, will stir up some bad blood between the two.
Geri Halliwell will be creating a range of dresses for high street store Next, which will be released later this year. If you recall, this is on the heels of her high demand holiday collection that she helped design for the store. Geri Halliwell said recently in an interview, “I’ve been sketching everything myself. I’m thrilled with the results. The dresses are not stupidly expensive but they are elegant and beautiful.” I am curious and hopeful for what Halliwell has to offer to the fashion world.

One of the latest fly by night fashion trends is the new armored denim jeans. You may have seen this on such celebs such as Victoria Beckham or Beyonce, and I am sure that come this fall we will see even more of them. The jeans feature metal plating on the shins, knees, and sometimes thighs. Personally, I am not a fan and predict that by next year, we will be looking back on these as one of those yearly fashion faux pas. Just remember not to wear them when trying to get on a plane, otherwise you might be spending a little bit more time at the security checkpoint then you may like to!
