Zac Posen has done it again. Celebrity following? Check! The
cameras zoomed in on socialites and super stars alike for one of the most coveted tickets in town. Nicky Hilton and business partner Diddy got ample attention, but it was the low key Uma Thurman who received the most flashbulbs as she exited the tents with the masses, sans celebrity entourage and all the backstage schmoozing. However, others like Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Milla Jovovich, and Claire Danes did partake. The runway showed clothes just as fabulous as it's front row, with skinny-legged pant day suits sure to be seen at Soho hot spots this Fall. Other downtown looks included beautiful organza skirts striped with python, still appropriate to head uptown in for a Bilboquet brunch. Colors were limited to blacks, browns, navys, and a touch of pink, but the textures and tailoring spoke volumes. Posen's nod to the 30's and 40's was evident, but his look to the future of dressing smart women is what keeps us coming back for more.
